Osita Health Clinic is a Woman Owned and operated primary care clinic dedicated to improving the status of health of East Bay residents. Osita Health Clinic implements its mission by providing high-quality, comprehensive and culturally appropriate healthcare, by implementing direct service models to increase access to care and thereby prevent the need for emergency services.

Osita Health Clinic was founded to address the growing need for an accessible, personalized, culturally appropriate, community center and responsive health care in Oakland, California.

Osita Health Clinic aims to eliminate wide health disparities and improve health outcomes for uninsured and low-income residents of East Oakland.

Drug Screening

As the use of illegal substances and drug abuse in the workplace becomes more and more prevalent, employers are seeking solutions such as drug screen testing for job candidates. Here at Osita Health Clinic, we understand the importance of employment drug testing and offer comprehensive, professional, and legally defensible drug testing solutions. Our clinics offer Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug tests, as well as drug test “collection only” services.

Employers and businesses alike have access to a range of pre-employment drug tests, each offering a unique set of benefits. Osita Health Clinic is proud to provide convenient, on-site drug testing for future candidates and the currently employed.

The clinic is open 6 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Osita Health Clinic offers you the ability to book online in advance through the “Book Appointment” tab prior to arriving at the clinic. This should cut your wait time considerably and get you on with your day.

DOT Physicals

Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals

Department of Transportation (DOT) requires commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operators to have the DOT physical exam to maintain their driver certification. The DOT deems professional drivers who operate commercial vehicles of five tons or more as ‘safety-sensitive’ because they can affect both their safety and the public’s safety. Drivers must provide periodic physical examination reports to maintain compliance and continue working. Certified Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical examiners can perform the DOT physical. Your exam at Osita Health Clinic follows the specific guidelines of the FMCSA to ensure that commercial drivers are in satisfactory health and able to work safely.
